The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) have issued a new advisory detailing traffic diversion routes around Park Road as construction continues on the Margalla Enclave underpass, which is expected to cause congestion in the surrounding areas.

According to the advisory:

Motorists traveling from Rawal Dam Chowk towards Tramri will be rerouted via NIH Road and Mohra Noor, before merging back onto Park Road.

Vehicles traveling from Tramri towards Rawal Dam Chowk will be redirected through Chai Khana towards CDA Nursery.

Authorities said temporary roads alongside the iron grill will guide vehicles back onto Park Road to maintain traffic flow during construction.

An additional alternative route for Islamabad-bound commuters is via Lehtrar Road to Khanna Pul, connecting to the Expressway, which may help avoid the most congested sections.

Officials warned that traffic on Park Road is likely to remain heavy until construction is completed. Commuters are advised to factor in 20–30 extra minutes for travel and plan their journeys accordingly.

For real-time updates, commuters can contact the Traffic Helpline at 1915 or reach out via Pucar 15.
