The Punjab government has officially launched the Parwaaz Card Program, a new initiative aimed at helping young people secure overseas employment by providing interest-free financial assistance to cover essential costs.
Under the scheme, financial support will be provided to up to 100,000 eligible applicants who already have verified job offers from abroad but are unable to meet the expenses required to complete the employment process. The assistance will help cover costs such as visa fees, medical examinations, and air tickets, which often become major hurdles for job seekers.
Officials said the program is specifically designed for individuals who have received confirmed employment offers from authorized foreign employers and meet the eligibility criteria set by the government. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, must be residents of Punjab, and must possess a valid overseas job offer.
The Parwaaz Card Program has been introduced to ensure a transparent, structured, and accessible pathway for international employment, reducing the role of unauthorized agents and protecting job seekers from financial exploitation.
Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official portal at parwaaz.psdf.org.pk. Authorities have urged applicants to provide accurate and complete information during registration to avoid delays during the verification process.
The initiative is expected to play a significant role in expanding employment opportunities for Punjab’s youth while supporting the province’s broader goal of workforce development and economic growth.
