Mansehra Youth Killed After Rs. 200 Dispute, Suspect Arrested

A young man was killed in Mansehra district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa following a minor financial dispute involving just Rs. 200, police confirmed on Monday.

According to officials, an argument erupted between the victim, identified as Saquib, and the suspect, Sherbaz, which quickly escalated. During the confrontation, Sherbaz allegedly attacked Saquib with a sharp weapon, leaving him critically injured.

Police rushed to the scene and shifted the injured man to Ayub Medical Complex, where he later succumbed to his injuries despite medical treatment.

Law enforcement authorities have since arrested the suspect and registered a case at Khaki Police Station, while further investigation into the incident is underway.

In a separate and unrelated incident in Abbottabad’s Cantonment area, a 20-year-old woman lost her life after sustaining a gunshot injury to the head. Police said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death to determine whether it was a case of suicide or caused by other factors.
