The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has officially announced the schedule for the Intermediate (HSSC) First Year Annual Examinations 2026, confirming that the exams will commence on April 28.
Along with the examination date, the board has opened online submission of admission forms and released a detailed fee structure for regular, private, improvement, and unregistered candidates.
According to the official notification, students can submit their admission forms with the normal fee until February 3, 2026. Applications submitted after the deadline will be accepted with late fees. Forms submitted between February 4 and February 12 will require a double fee, while submissions made from February 13 to February 24 will be charged a triple fee.
The Federal Board has fixed the First Year examination fee at Rs. 2,700, while unregistered candidates will be required to pay Rs. 4,200. Students appearing in both First Year and Second Year exams together will be charged a combined fee of Rs. 5,400.
Additionally, the board has announced a Rs. 2,000 correction fee for making changes to admission forms or rectifying errors on roll number slips.
However, FBISE clarified that orphans, persons with disabilities, and prisoner candidates will be exempted from paying examination fees.
Students are advised to complete the registration process within the given timelines to avoid late charges and ensure smooth processing of their examination forms.
